Everyday Activism and the Common Good

The theme of this year's Honors Conference considers ways that we can contribute to human flourishing by engaging in everyday activism. Nicole Baker Fulgham, founder and president of The Expectations Project will speak about the ways Christians can be involved in improving public education. Nicholas Wolterstorff will address how to right injustice, asking: What is the typical structure of movements for social justice? How do they activate poeple for change, what are the forms of resistance that they encounter, and how do they overcome those resistances? Both keynote speakers will speak at breakout sessions. Other breakout speakers include Jonathan Wilson-Hartgrove and Matt Soerens.
