    Provides quality research in areas related to communication and mass media.
  • PsycINFO
    Contains citations and articles for international scholarly journals, as well as books, dissertations, and technical reports.
  • SocINDEX
    Covers sociology and related disciplines, such as anthropology, criminology, demography, economic development, ethnic & racial studies, gender studies, social psychology, social work, and urban studies.
  • Statista
    Highlights the most recent and relevant statistics and quantitative research on a wide array of topics.

Other Useful Resources

  • Google Scholar
    Includes journal articles, book chapters and essays, and sometimes entire books. Text is frequently not available for free, but can be accessed using WorldCat or Interlibrary Loan.
  • JSTOR
    Provides full-text articles from scholarly journals in a broad spectrum of topics and disciplines. Coverage spans from the journals' inception to the most recent 3-5 years (current issues are not available).
